Picnic to Hell
A wonderful book that every christian must read. Its available here on Scribd or can be downloaded from here. it woudl surely change your perspective on life as a Christian.
What on earth is wrong with you people? How can you consider a book that describes John Lennon burning in a cauldron for being part of a "satanic" band as good reading? If your idea of a benevolent god is one who burns homosexuals and drunkards and makes teenagers watch, you should be institutionalized. I am a christian too, and i believe in the teachings of the bible; I believe in brotherhood and peace and respect, but I am also an educated human being, not a half baked psycopath who will take everything written (by man) in a thousand year old book on face value. The bible was written in context to a particular time when terrifying people with such stories was the only way to control them. Love thy neighbor, do not send them to hell for making music that brought people together and made them happy.
i feared a lot and lot after reading this book, i had read this book in sep 2010 and after reading this book i took baptism immediately and i leaved all things which is against god, i given my heart to jesus, god changed my mind and he filled with holy spirit, after my baptism my husband too baptised and we both became children of god now, we are happy in god now, thanks for the book
