You have the DNA of the Almighty God…………..

You must have heard about the famous racehorses, the kind you might see at the Kentucky Derby or other prestigious horse races. Did you ever think how much time, effort, and resources go into the making of one of those championship horses? There are not ordinary horses; these are thoroughbreds (The Thoroughbred is a horse breed best known for its use in horse racing). They have generation after generation of winners on the inside. These horses have been carefully studied and bred for generations. In horse racing, the "blood stock agent" focuses his attention on the animal's bloodline. They might spend months to do such a research. Simply to breed one of these world champion thoroughbreds can cost to half a million dollars. And there's no guarantee that the colt will win. The uninformed observer might say, "Those poor owners wasted their money. That horse couldn't win anything. He looks like an average, ordinary horse." But the owners know that on the inside, in his blood, that colt has a legacy of championship genes. It's all in the blood. That's why the owners are not necessarily concerned about the colt's initial weakness. They don't care what color he is, how pretty he is, or even how large he is. They know that deep down on the inside, that colt has the blood of a winner.  Friend, this is how God looks at you and me. Our external appearance is irrelevant. It doesn't matter what color your skin is what's your ethnic background is. It doesn't matter how many weaknesses or flaws you have. You have the DNA of the Almighty God. You come from a long line of champions. On the inside of you are seeds of greatness. Take a better look at your bloodline. That's why you must quit focusing on your weaknesses and get a bigger vision for your life. Understand that God sees you already at the Winner's Circle.

Don't allow your life to become dull ………

The famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright designed many beautiful buildings, homes and other magnificent structures. Toward the end of his career, a reporter asked him, "Of your many beautiful designs, which one is your favorite?" Frank immediately answered, "My next one." Frank understood the principle of stretching, constantly pressing forward, never being satisfied simple with past successes. The entire world is waiting for your next adventure. Too many people are living far below their potential. They have many gifts, talents, and so much more going for them. But they've gotten comfortable, settled where they are, and lately become too easily satisfied. We often hear people making excuses for stagnating in their personal growth: "I've achieved as much as most." "Compared to other people, I'm doing pretty well in my career." I've gotten as far as my parents did ". That's great, but God wants you to go further. He's a progressive God, and he wants every generation to be increasing in happiness, success and significance. No matter where we are in life, God has more in store. He never wants us to quit growing. We should always be reaching for new heights in our abilities, in our spiritual walk, in our finances, careers, and personal relationships. We all have areas where we can come up higher. We may have achieved a certain level of success, but there are always new challenges, other mountains to climb. There are new dreams and goals that we can pursue. No doubt, God has already done a lot in your past. He's opened doors for you that nobody else can open. Maybe He's given you a wonderful family and home, perhaps he's caused you to be promoted, given you favor with employer. He may have done wonders in past, but you haven't seen anything yet! The best is yet to come. Don't allow your life to become dull. Keep dreaming, hoping and planning for the new projects, experiences and adventures with God.

Little John the Baptist

Little John the Baptist

Matt..18:4-5

"Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And who ever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. "

Johnny's Mother looked out the window and noticed him "playing church" with their cat.

He had the cat sitting quietly and he was preaching to it. She smiled and went about her work. A while later. She heard loud meowing and hissing and ran back To the open window to see Johnny baptizing the cat in a tub of water.

She called out, "Johnny, stop that! The cat is afraid of water!"

Johnny looked up at her and said, "He should have thought about that before he joined my church."

The old cross and the new

All unannounced and mostly undetected there has come in modern times a new cross into popular evangelical circles. It is like the old cross, but different: the likenesses are superficial; the differences, fundamental.

…The new cross does not slay the sinner, it redirects him. It gears him into a cleaner and jollier way of living and saves his self-respect. To the self-assertive it says, "Come and assert yourself for Christ." To the egotist it says, "Come and do your boasting in the Lord." To the thrill-seeker it says, "Come and enjoy the thrill of Christian fellowship." The Christian message is slanted in the direction of the current vogue in order to make it acceptable to the public.

…The old cross is a symbol of death…The man in Roman times who took up his cross and started down the road had already said good-by to his friends. He was not coming back. He was going out to have it ended. The cross made no compromise, modified nothing, spared nothing; it slew all of the man, completely and for good.

…The faith of Christ does not parallel the world, it intersects it. In coming to Christ we do not bring our old life up onto a higher plane; we leave it at the cross. The corn of wheat must fall into the ground and die…God offers life, but not an improved old life. The life He offers is life out of death. It stands always on the far side of the cross.

What does this mean to the individual, the condemned man who would find life in Christ Jesus? How can this theology be translated into life? Simply, he must repent and believe. He must forsake his sins and then go on to forsake himself. Let him cover nothing, defend nothing, excuse nothing. ..

Having done this let him gaze with simple trust upon the risen Savior, and from Him will come life and rebirth and cleansing and power. The cross that ended the earthly life of Jesus now puts an end to the sinner; and the power that raised Christ from the dead now raises him to a new life along with Christ... Let us preach the old cross and we will know the old power.

God’s mercy will never dry up …………..

God's mercy will never dry up …………..

Sometime back I heard of this interesting example. A small fish lived in a stream in which water was exceedingly decreasing. The fish felt worried that as the water was steadily going down if the stream would dry up altogether all of a sudden. So it complained to God out of anxiety. God asked the fish whether it had enough water to swim. The fish answered that it had; God asked whether there was enough water for the fish to drink. It said there was; Again God asked whether it had enough water to breather and the fish answered that it had. Then God asked the fish, why it was so anxious when it had everything it needed? Many of us are worried in this way. If you set your faith on God, you can live in joy. His mercy will never dry up. It will be poured on us continuously. If you have lost faith in prayer, resume praying. For God's mercy endures forever!!

Make a difference in somebody's life................

Make a difference in somebody's life…………..

A young boy who lived in the inner city was about eight years old, and his family was extremely poor. One cold fall day, he was up at the local store looking in the window admiring a pair of tennis shoes. As he stood there, cold and barefoot, a lady came along and said, "Young man, what are you doing staring so intently in this window?" Under his breath, and almost shyly, he said, "Well, I was just sort of praying and asking God if He'd give me a new pair of tennis shoes." Without hesitation, the woman took him into the store and very gently and lovingly washed his cold dirty feet. Then she put a brand - new pair of socks on him and told him to pick out three new pairs of owned a new pair of shoes. He'd always worn hand -e - downs. After the woman paid for the purchases, she returned to the little boy. He looked at her in disbelief. Nobody had ever taken that kind of interest in him. With tears running down his cheeks, he said, "Lady, can I ask you a question? Are you God's servant?" Friend, you are never more like God than when you give, when you take time for people, when you do something good for somebody who can never repay you. You will never be happy catering to yourself. Real joy comes as you give your life away. Make a decision to be good to people. Pay attention to those around you - your friends, coworkers, relatives, even strangers. Listen to what they're saying. Be sensitive and don't miss any opportunity to do good. Remember, true love is always backed up with actions. Be a giver and not a taker. Make a difference in somebody's life.

Linea flower

The Linea (Linnaea) Flower

The Linea flower, half the size of a Daisy, is hidden away in remote and seemingly insignificant places of the earth where few people ever pass to discover its beauty or inhale its magnificent fragrance.

Do you feel God has given you an insignificant role or put you in a remote, hidden place?  Consider these words from Frank Boreham as he discovers the Linea flower while hiking in a remote region…

“Again and again I held it near my face; enjoying the perfume…I looked up and thanked God for this tiny flower, so insignificant, growing in a wild, almost untrodden forest, yet bringing cheer and refreshment to me. I thought, why is it so obscure, when it is a flower with such fragrance, and surely worthy of a place in the most stately grounds?  I learned a lesson by it—I thought, ‘if I cannot be a tall pine in God’s forest, I may be a tiny flower to send forth the fragrance of Jesus in a world of so much sadness.’”

You may not be one of those great pine trees growing in his forest of God’s grace that many eyes can see; you are like the Linea flower, planted by God in a seemingly insignificant place, to bless others, to renew the weary, to strengthen the weak, to lift the discouraged, and to refresh those in need of encouragement as they continue on to follow the Lord.

Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us. Psalm 90:17 NKJV

Have a blessed day!!

Relationship and Response

Relationship and Response

A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If then I am a Father, where is My honor? And if I am a Master, where is the [reverent] fear due Me? Malachi 1:6 AMP

God's names help us understand His relationship toward us, but they also help us to understand what our responses should be toward Him. In Malachi 1:6 we have examples of this. God gives us two of His names, Father and Master. These names tell us that God wants to be our loving Heavenly Father and the Master of our lives. Our right response to these two names should be honor and fear. We honor God because He is our Father, we fear God because He is our Master.

Here are some other names of God and what our responses should be—

A walk with Lord at Sea Shore………….

A walk with Lord at Sea Shore………….

One night a man had a dream that he was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to him, the other belonging to the LORD. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints, and that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life...  This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it. "LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me." The LORD replied, "My precious, precious child. I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

Assurance in Jesus

May Jesus assure you that as you follow Him
you will "never meet a fear" He cannot "conquer",
you will "never face an enemy" He cannot "defeat",
you will "never enter a battle" He cannot "win",
you will "never have a need" He cannot "meet",
you will "never face a temptation" He cannot "overcome",
you will "never have a burden" He cannot "lift",
you will "never face a problem" He cannot "solve",
you will "never have a bondage" He cannot "break",
you will "never have a moment" when He does not "care",
you will "never have a time" when He is not there.

I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]. Philippians 4:13 AMP

Plotted evil, But God turned it to good………….

Plotted evil, But God turned it to good………….

We should all be thankful and reassured that God is so wise and powerful, because absolutely nothing can cause his purpose to fail. In fact, he is even able to take the things meant for evil and make them work for good. Joseph's brothers hated him so much that they plotted his murder before selling him as a slave. But, in Egypt, Joseph gained the favor of King Pharaoh, who gave Joseph the second position of authority. During a famine, his brothers came to Joseph seeking help for food, not realizing and recognizing who he was. When Joseph finally identified them, he said, "Now do not be upset or blame yourselves, for selling me to these people. It was really God who sent me ahead of you to save people's lives" (Gen. 45:5), Later, he told them, "You plotted evil against me, but God turned it to good, in order to preserve the lives of many people who are alive today because of what happened" (Gen. 50:20). To me, that's both exciting and encouraging. I'm reassured to realize that no matter what someone might do to harm me; the Lord is able to turn it for my benefit and His Glory. We should never be afraid of the multitude of people who may be plotting evil against us, because we have a Father who is working for our good, day and night. When we are discouraged because of distressing circumstances and demanding challenges, we can rejoice in God's wisdom, power, and sovereignty. He is working all things for our good.

Spider's Web..

Spider's web……

Robert Bruce, the king of Scotland got defeated in the battles six times by his enemies. Therefore, leaving the country he fled to a forest and was lying inside a cave with a broken heart. In one corner of that cave, a spider was making effort to spin a web. With the thread emanating from its stomach, the spider tried attaching it from one end to another, and at every effort it kept falling down. Yet, it never grew weary. For the seventh time, mustering all its strength, the spider tried again, and became successful in getting to the other end with the thread. It also completed the web. A new strength and boldness was formed in the heart of Robert Bruce who witnessed this scene. He got up saying, "I will also use all my might and be successful in this seventh attempt." Accordingly, he won the victory. Therefore, we should also not become weary in our efforts. God will surely make us victorious. Since we are surrounded by such great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders, the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run the race with perseverance marked out for us (Hebrews 12:1).

Recognize your savior………..

Recognize your savior………..

A house caught fire accidentally in a particular village. The husband and wife residing in that house perished in the fire before the rescue operations could reach them. The entire village gathered around the house and they were fighting hard to put out the flames. Suddenly they heard a child's scream from within the house. They were shocked. However, in as much as the fire was raging with a devastating ferocity, no one dared to enter that house. A young man, who was an alien to that village and who happened to be at the spot by chance, rushed into the house unmindful of his own safety, hurried back through the flames and fell down flat and speechless.  The little boy was saved from the flames miraculously. But the young man who rescued the boy suffered severe burns on his face, his arms and his hands. He had to be hospitalized for a very long time. After some days when he visited again the site of the accident, he found the village court in session in the heart of the village. The little boy who was saved from the fire was standing before the court surrounded by his relatives. The elders who formed the court asked the little fellow as to which of his relatives he would like to live with. But he was too young to make this crucial decision; and he said he did not have any special likeness towards any one of them. He was staring around, dazed and scared. The young man made way through the crowd stretching forth his arms full of burn scars. He said to the president, "Sir, I shall look after this little boy." The little lad also recognized his savior and embraced him. He readily agreed to go and live with his rescuer. What was it that brought about this deep affection and tie between the two? It is the unconditional sacrifice made by the young man on the child's behalf. In a similar manner Jesus Christ our Lord, the only begotten Son of God, offered Himself up as a vicarious sacrifice in atonement of our sins, iniquities and transgressions on the cross. To save us from the blazing hot fire of cruel sin, He had to suffer severe mutilation on the cross.

lost in forest ...!(must read)

Lost in forest………..

Once a man got trapped in a thick and a dangerous forest in Africa and lost his way. He was unable to find his way out of that forest. He was surrounded by thick bushes. He was stuck with fear and thought that his life was at risk, because of the other wild animals which might attack him. While wandering through forests in order to find his way out of the forest, he found a single lonely cottage. With great anxiety, he asked the old man who was living there to show him the way and let him know that he is at safe place totally out of the forest. The man started walking behind the old man. After following the old man for a long time, with fear and anxiousness in his heart, he asked the old man, "Where is the way?" The old man replied, "Sir! There is no path ahead. I am the way. Just follow me." Very soon, the old man led the young man out of the forest and made sure that he is on the right road from where he can find his way home. When we lose our way and end up panicking what happens next, remember God will direct your path and show a way in which you should blindly walk trusting Him to receive His blessings and keep up His will. The way through which He is taking you might seem longer. But don't stop in the middle and question God "Where is the way?" He knows where He should take you. Walk with Him. Your future will begin to glow with the light of heaven into which it will ultimately blend. Your path of life will lead on into the infinite distances of eternity. There might be darkness in some areas of your life. But, he wants to be your light and bring you out of such darkness, forests, and deserts, lost unknown roads. Just when your river Jordan is overflowing its banks, making a crossing seem impossible even in such circumstances, He will open a way through. In this evil world, Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to blessings and eternal life. The truth that can never be proved wrong is that He is an existing and a living God. He wants to take control of your life. Allow Him to direct your path and walk in His footsteps for He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life" (John 14:6)

Give Your cares to Jesus..................

Give Your cares to Jesus..................

When the cares of the world choke us we become weak not only in our mind but also in our spirit. Did the cares of the world choke Jesus? Problems and cares of this life may grip and threaten you. You may be concerned about your loved one's studies or about their future. The problems in your life may seem hard to handle. It is the devil who is always at work trying to steal the Word of God that is implanted in you giving you earthly cares and concerns. But take them to the Lord Jesus Christ Who subdued all the problems. Your sorrows will be turned to joy."…the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful" (Matthew 13:22). "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

I Know My Master .......

I know My Master............

A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was preparing to leave the examination room......and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side. "Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know. "You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side? "The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side of which came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness. Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing...I know my Master Jesus is there and that is enough."

There was a couple who used to go to England to shop in the beautiful stores. They both liked antiques and pottery and especially teacups. This was their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. One day in this beautiful shop they saw a beautiful teacup. They said "May we see that? We've never seen one quite so beautiful". As the lady handed it to them, suddenly the teacup spoke."You don't understand". It said. "Haven't always been a teacup .there was a time when I was red and I was clay. My master took me and rolled me and patted me over and over and I yelled out, 'Let me alone'. But he smiled, 'Not yet'. "Then I was placed on a spinning wheel," the teacup said, and suddenly was spun around and around and around. 'Stop it! I'm getting dizzy!' I screamed. But the master only nodded and said, 'Not yet.' "Then he put me in the oven. I never felt such heat. I wondered why he wanted to burn me, and I yelled and knocked at the door. I could see him through the opening and I could read his lips as he shook his head, 'Not yet'. "Finally the door opened, he put me on the shelf, and I began to cool.' there, that's better', I said. And he brushed and painted me all over. The fumes were horrible. I thought I would gag. 'Stop it!' I cried. He only nodded, 'Not yet'. eThen suddenly he put me back into the oven, not like the first one. This was twice as hot and I knew I would suffocate. I begged. I pleaded. I screamed. I cried. All the time I could see him through the opening nodding his head saying, 'Not yet." Then I knew there wasn't any hope. I would never make it. I was ready to give up. But the door opened and he took me out and placed me on the shelf. One hour later he handed me a mirror and I couldn't believe it was me. 'It's beautiful. I'm beautiful.' When you are going through adversity, & searching for reasons & answers, remember that it may not be a punishment from God, it may not be your fault or anyone's fault. Adversity is here for a reason; for it is only through struggles, pain & suffering that we grow stronger & wiser

Enjoy ice cream rather than sand..........

Enjoy ice cream rather than sand………..

There lived a man who had a daughter named Sophie, a toddler. He used to take her to a park not far from their apartment. One day as she was playing in a sandbox, an ice cream salesman approached them. He purchased her a treat, and when he turned to give it to her, he saw her mouth was full of sand. Where he intended to put a delicacy, she had put dirt. Did he love her dirt in her mouth? Absolutely no, was he going to allow her to keep the dirt in her mouth? No way. He loved her right where she was, but he refused to leave her there. He carried her over to the water and washed her mouth because of his love towards her. God does the same for us. He holds us over the fountain. God says "Spit out the dirt, my child because I have got something better for you." And so He cleanses us from filth: immorality, dishonesty, prejudice, bitterness, greed. We don't enjoy the cleansing; sometimes we even opt for the dirt over the ice cream. But if we do, the loss is ours. God has a better offer. He wants us to be like Him. God's plan for you is nothing short of a new heart. So God wants us to change our heart. God's love never ceases. The love of people often increases with performance and decreases with mistakes. But, it's not the same with God; God doesn't love us less if we fail or more if we succeed. Though we limit Him, ignore Him, reject Him, despise Him, disobey Him, He will not change and He wants us to enjoy ice cream rather than sand.

Rock that doesn't move ...! (True Story--Must Read)

Rock that doesn't move ………

Years ago, there lived a ship owner with his family who was actually a sailor. He sailed from one place to another across the rivers. He had a son whom he adored and loved a lot. The sailor's son had a wish that he should travel with his father in the ship. But, the father was so concerned and caring towards his son that he didn't feel like putting the boy's life at risk by taking him across the rivers. From his years of experience, he told the son that it's not safe to take him, because of the cyclones and tides that will cause the ship to get imbalanced and drowned. The little boy was so curious and excited, as he already planned for a trip on a ship with his dad. One fine day, the boy forced his father to take him along. As expected, even on that day, there were severe tornados and a cyclone which hit the ship while traveling amidst the river. Consequently, the boy being small got drowned. His father searched for the boy everywhere and was shattered as he wasn't able to find his son. The very next morning, he found his son on the rock lying in the middle of the river, lost his conscious. Due to the water in his body, he became sick and it was difficult for him to live one whole night without any medication. His father took his son, rubbed his feet, removed the water from his body and gave him something warm to drink trying to protect his child. After a minute or two, the sailor asked his son, how he was able to survive one whole night. He asked him whether he was not afraid or shaken and the boy answered "the rock I was lying on didn't shake, neither had it let me get drowned and it was holding me still. How can I be afraid when the rock itself was giving me courage to live and removed the fear within me?" Friends this is amazing, The rock there represents our living God. His shoulders are big enough to catch us when we fall. Under no condition should you feel that you are left out that this rich provision is not for you. Lord preserves and protects those who love him. God is your refuge and no evil shall befall you. Neither a tide nor a storm can hit his children, because we all are covered under his feathers. Rock is the foundation that was laid which helped the boy to lean on. God's love is the main base and foundation for us to live in this world. Cast all your burdens upon him and he will stand still until eternity with you like the rock. Let a tear appear on your cheek and he is there by your side to wipe it away. Our life might be filled with storms, deadly races and tsunamis, but our loving and an everlasting father is there to protect us.
