Who are you?

Knowing who we are and desiring always and working towards what we should be and not being a hypocrite is what the Lord God desires from us.

A Pharisee and a teacher of the law were blessed duties assigned by the Lord; however they who filled the positions positioned themselves as God and acted wickedly against God and His people. They knew they were corrupt, however they always portrayed to be self righteous thus displeasing the Lord God.

An honest witness is always acceptable in the Lord’s presence as John the Baptist was….

“And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?”
He said, “I am not.”
“Are you the Prophet?”
And he answered, “No.”
Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?”
He said: “I am
‘ The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
“ Make straight the way of the LORD,”’ as the prophet Isaiah said.””

John 1:21-23

John the Baptist knew who he was and did not try to misrepresent himself or to be as the crowd wanted him to be..his desire was to be what the Lord wanted him to be and he was so clear in his mission, he clearly knew the will of God in his life…

How about us? Do we know who we are and what the Lord want us to be? Or do we just fit in the image or life the crowd wants us to be in? Are we walking in the will of God always?

Dear Ones!!! The Lord has set a perfect and unique target for each one us, let’s know it and let’s try to achieve it with the Lord’s help and providence.
