Let the face of God shine upon us.

People of God are blessed through God and thus they always have the best,

for the source of all their blessings is 'The best'..'The Lord God'.

 

"God be merciful to us and bless us,
         And cause His face to shine upon us."

 

Psalm 67:1

 

In the history of Israel, whenever the people of God were connected to God in prayer, God's favor was upon His people and they were always victorious.

 

It is in and through God that we always have our being.

 

It is said that in one of the civil wars in America, a woman approached Abraham Lincoln and said ."Mr. President, please do not worry, for God is on our side." to which Abraham Lincoln replied "I know God is with me, yet I am more concerned whether in all my doings am I on God's side."

 

God's providence and faithfulness is always there, yet we need to check ourselves always...

 

Our blessed Lord says this to us.....

"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."

John 15:5 

 

We need to abide in Him to be fruitful, we need His face to shine upon us to be blessed and that can only happen when we stay connected to Him, always living in His perfect will and always being on God's side in all we do.
