Choice made the difference……….

 

Dr. Pierce Harris, a former pastor of the First Methodist Church of Atlanta, Georgia, preached to some prisoners.  One of the prisoners got up and introduced him to the others with these words: "Several years ago, two boys lived in a town in north Georgia. They went to the same school, played together and attended the same Sunday school. One dropped out of Sunday school and said that it was 'sissy stuff.' the other boy kept on going. One rejected Christ; the other accepted Him. The boy who rejected Christ is making this introduction today. The boy who accepted Christ is the honored preacher who will speak to us today!" Choice made the difference. Examine as to where your choice would land you? God loves you and wants you to enjoy peace and life, today and eternally. God doesn't hate you, but He hates sin. He loved you before you were born. He knew you'd need a Saviour and sent His only Son Jesus to die in your place. Christ, who was without sin became a sin sacrifice for you and me. You have a choice to serve sin or serve God. Sin leads to death, eternal death. But if you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and make Him the Master, the Boss of your life, you will live forever. If you received Christ today, you are reborn into God's family through the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer in Christ. Rejoice that your name has been written in the Lamb's Book of Life!
