If you agree, please pass this on.

It is said that 86% of the World's people believe in God.
Why don't we just tell the other 14% to be quiet and sit down?
If you agree, pass this on, if not delete.

The Important Things In Life...............

The Important Things In Life...............

A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, about 2″ in diameter. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the open areas between the rocks. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He then asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "Yes." "Now," said the professor, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The rocks are the important things - your Church, your Ministry, your family, your partner, your health, your children - things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter - like your job, your house, your car. The sand is everything else, the small stuff." "If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued "there is no room for the pebbles or the rocks. The same goes for your life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pray everyday to God, give thanks for what He has done, Love every one and Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take your partner out. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house and give a dinner. Take care of the rocks first - the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."

Life through Spirit

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

Romans 8:11

For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship.[g] And by him we cry, "Abba,[h] Father." 16The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children

Romans 8:15,16

Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[m] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38

Pleasing God.............

Pleasing God..............

There was an old man, a boy and a donkey. They were going to town and they decided that the boy should ride. As they went along they passed by some people who thought that it was a shame for the boy to ride and the old man to walk. The old man and boy decided that maybe the critics were right so they changed positions. Later, they passed some more people who thought that it was a real shame for an old man to ride and make such a small boy walk. Then they decided may be they should walk. Soon they passed some more people who thought that it was stupid to walk when they had a donkey to ride. The old man and the boy decided may be the critics were right so they decided that they both should ride. They soon passed by other people who thought that it was a shame to put such a load on a poor little animal. The old man and the boy decided that maybe the critics were right so they decided to carry the donkey. As they crossed a bridge they lost their grip on the animal and it fell into the river and drowned. The moral of the story is...if you'r trying to please everyone, you will eventually lose your everything. It is always the will of God that we live a life worth of Him, pleasing Him, bearing fruit, growing in our knowledge of Him, and being strengthened by his power. To be pleasing to God we are to be sanctified. That is, set apart for Him. And that is in both the good and the bad times. Praise from your heart is always a sacrifice in which He is well pleased.

A Blessing On The Elevated Train.............

A Blessing On The Elevated Train.............

I remember reading a story not long ago about the "elevated" in Chicago--a train that when it comes into the downtown, it's on a high track.

A young man was riding that train day after day as a commuter. And as the train slowed up for the station where he got off,

he could look through an open curtain into a room of a building and see a woman lying in a bed. She was there day after day,

for a long time, obviously quite ill. He began to get interested in her since he saw her every day.

Finally he determined to find out her name. He discovered her address, and he wrote her a card,

assuring her that he was praying for her recovery. He signed it: "The young man on the elevated."

A few weeks later, he pulled into the station, and he looked through that window and the bed was empty.

Instead there was a great huge sign: GOD BLESS YOU, MY FRIEND ON THE ELEVATED!

Seven secrets for success..........

Seven secrets for success………..

1: Wake Up! Wake up early in the morning and sing praises to the Lord. This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24). 2: Dress Up! The best way to dress up is to put a smile on your face no matter what you face. I will put off my sad face and wear a smile (Job 9:27). 3: Shut Up! Speak good and learn to listen. God has given us two ears and one mouth. We must talk very less and listen others problems in a caring way and intercede for them. Without wood a fire goes out; without gossip a quarrel dies down (Proverbs 26:20). 4: Stand up! Stand up for the Lord in this evil world. The Lord shall bless you and use you for His glory! Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will (Romans 12:2). 5: Look Up! Look to the Lord always in our life. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed (Psalm 34:5). 6: Reach Up! To reach higher in life… Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7: Lift Up! Lift your prayers to God and do not worry about anything. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6).

God's Way to Give.........

God's Way to Give.........

2 Corinthians 9:6-8, Our heavenly Father knows what our income is and how He would like us to spend it.  He also desires that we demonstrate certain heart attitudes in our giving. These include faith, compassion, and generosity. It takes faith to give before our own needs are met. The Macedonians at Philippi were experiencing deep poverty, but they still longed to contribute. Their behavior revealed a deep trust in the Lord's provision. Compassion is also vital. This heart attitude cares about others and wants to bless them. The Philippian church saw Paul's situation and longed to help (Phil. 4:16). The Lord is pleased when we love one another and share from what we have. The Macedonian believers were also generous. Though in great need themselves, they begged for the privilege of contributing to the collection for the Jerusalem church. Consider how greatly we have benefited from the generosity of our heavenly Father. He provided His Son Jesus to take our sins upon Himself and die in our place. He has adopted us into His family, made us co-heirs with Christ, and prepared for us a permanent home in heaven with Him. And in this life, His Holy Spirit provides everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). As we make our Christmas plans, let's be generous towards others, just as God has been to us. As we study biblical principles about how to handle money, God's Holy Spirit will help us put them into practice. Obedience to the Word will bring spiritual blessing (Luke 6:38).

Good News of Great Joy...........

Good News of Great Joy..........

Luke 2:8-14; When an angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds in the field, he gave them good news of great joy for all people: The long-awaited Savior was born! Then the angel was suddenly "joined by a vast host of others--the armies of heaven--praising God" (Luke 2:13 nlt). The good news they proclaimed that day had to do with much more than Jesus' birth. It anticipated His sinless life, which qualified Him to be God's sacrificial lamb. It looked ahead to His crucifixion on our behalf and His resurrection, which signaled the Father's acceptance of Christ's payment for our sins. The announcement also encompassed the idea of His ascension into heaven (Ps. 110:1). And it envisioned the day of Pentecost, when the Spirit would indwell believers (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:17), as well as the time Jesus would return as King. The angels rejoiced because the day of salvation was here (2 Cor. 6:2). Jesus spoke about spiritual joy because He wanted His followers to experience the deep satisfaction that derives from a relationship with God. Such divine contentment is not dependent upon outward circumstances but overflows from the Spirit's presence. Earthly happiness is externally produced and temporary. Divine joy is internally generated through the work of the Holy Spirit. The angels in heaven rejoiced at the announcement of Jesus' birth, and the shepherds praised God. Have you thanked the Lord today for your salvation? Are you experiencing the divine joy that overflows from a Spirit-filled life?

Choice made the difference……….

Choice made the difference……….

Dr. Pierce Harris, a former pastor of the First Methodist Church of Atlanta, Georgia, preached to some prisoners.  One of the prisoners got up and introduced him to the others with these words: "Several years ago, two boys lived in a town in north Georgia. They went to the same school, played together and attended the same Sunday school. One dropped out of Sunday school and said that it was 'sissy stuff.' the other boy kept on going. One rejected Christ; the other accepted Him. The boy who rejected Christ is making this introduction today. The boy who accepted Christ is the honored preacher who will speak to us today!" Choice made the difference. Examine as to where your choice would land you? God loves you and wants you to enjoy peace and life, today and eternally. God doesn't hate you, but He hates sin. He loved you before you were born. He knew you'd need a Saviour and sent His only Son Jesus to die in your place. Christ, who was without sin became a sin sacrifice for you and me. You have a choice to serve sin or serve God. Sin leads to death, eternal death. But if you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and make Him the Master, the Boss of your life, you will live forever. If you received Christ today, you are reborn into God's family through the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer in Christ. Rejoice that your name has been written in the Lamb's Book of Life!

God wants to give you a breakthrough………

God wants to give you a breakthrough………

God wants to give you a breakthrough—a sudden burst of His favor; an explosion of His goodness. He wants to release His power in such a way that it overwhelms you and drives out your enemies! Maybe you have been praying about a relationship for years, and suddenly, things get into place. That's a breakthrough. Or you were trying to get a certain job. They said there were no openings; but suddenly, they call you back and you get the job. That's another breakthrough. Perhaps you have struggled with an addiction for a long time, but then something happens and it's not a struggle anymore. Those are all breakthroughs. No matter what you've been facing, no matter how impossible things look, know this: the God of the breakthrough wants to visit your house. Get ready! Look for His favor and goodness. Remember, God rewards the people who seek after Him. So keep expecting, keep believing because the God of the breakthrough is ready to overwhelm you with His goodness today! Bible say in 2 Samuel 5:20 "…the Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like the bursting out of great waters…" Prayer for Today: Father in heaven, today I am expecting Your goodness. I am looking for Your favor. I'm trusting that You, the God of the breakthrough, are working mightily on my behalf. Help me to live a life pleasing to You as I wait for Your hand to move mightily in my life. In Jesus Name, Amen.

A Matter of Focus............

A Matter of Focus……….

My friend Marge had an experience aboard a plane bound for Cleveland, while waiting for takeoff. As she settled into her seat, Marge noticed a strange phenomenon. On one side of the airplane a sunset suffused the entire sky with glorious color. But out of the window next to her seat, all Marge could see was a dark and threatening sky, with no sign of the sunset. As the plane's engines began to roar, a gentle Voice spoke within her. "You have noticed the windows," murmured beneath the roar of the engines and thrust of the takeoff. "Your life, too, will contain some happy, beautiful times, but also some dark shadows. Here's a lesson I want to teach you to save you much heartache and allow you to "abide in God" with continual peace and joy. You see, it doesn't matter which window you look through; this plane is still going to Cleveland. So it is in your life. You have a choice. You can dwell on the gloomy picture. Or you can focus on the bright things and leave the dark, ominous situations to God. He alone can handle them anyway. The final destination is not influenced by what you see or feel along the way. Learn this, act on it and you will be released and able to experience the "peace that passes understanding."

Daddy's Lap.......

Daddy's lap………

There was a man who had two small and young daughters. He would come home, shout their names, and watch them rum to him with extended arms and squealing voices. For the next few moments they would speak the language of love. They would roll on the floor, gobble bellies, and tickle tummies and laugh and play. They delighted in each other's presence. They made no requests of him, with the exception of "Let's play, Daddy." And he made no demands of them, except, "Don't hit Daddy with the hammer." His kids had let him to love them. But suppose his daughters had approached him as we often approach God. "Hey, Dad, glad you're home. Here is what I want. More toys. More candy. And can we go to Disneyland this summer?'' He would have wished to say, "I'm not a waiter, and this isn't a restaurant. I'm your father, and this is our house. Why don't you just climb up on Daddy's lap and let me tell you how much I love you?" Ever thought God might want to do the same with you. To whom was He speaking when He said, "I have loved you with an everlasting love" (Jeremiah. 31:3)? Was He forgot what He said? "Nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ" (Romans. 8:39). The Lord your God is with you. He accepts your demands and requests of wanting to have a car, job, and house. But he expects you to go to Him, so that He can receive you with arms stretched that are filled with love.

My Precious Pearl !

Jesus - my Pearl..

Matthew 13:46
"Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking
goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went
and sold all that he had, and bought it."

I heard my son loudly studying for his scripture exams; the question was "Why did the man sell all his property? The answer was
"because he wanted to purchase the Pearl." The next question "Who is that Pearl" and the answer was "Jesus".

As I heard him learning this lesson, I was listening to it with tears flowing down my cheek. Suddenly my son turned, when he found me crying he asked "mummy, why are you crying? I asked him, "Joshua, would you give up everything to buy that precious pearl Jesus?" It was too deep a question to ask a 7 year old boy. He said 'yes,' I guess to please me; the future would answer that question.

That was an awesome verse in chapter thirteen of the book of Mathew ! The merchant loved that Pearl so much that nothing was going to stop him from buying it for himself! When I was young I dreamt of finding buried treasure. Part of the reason was that it was exciting, but the other reason was that I wanted money to become rich. But ONE DAY my priority changed, when I found this wonderful Pearl Jesus! He knocked me down, made me surrender my ALL, in order to keep Him locked up in my Heart. I walked out of "everything" to serve My Lord. Glory to Jesus!

Dear people, how much do you love Jesus? How much are you ready to sacrifice for this Pearl who gave Himself for you?

It is 12.30 midnight as I write this! I want to stir some fire in you! I am sick of watching people run behind Position, Prestige, Promotion, Prosperity, Pomp and Power; when would someone run crazily behind the Precious PEARL JESUS?
I received an email from a 28 year old engineer asking, " I want to have more revelations from the Bible, please guide me on this. I want to spend strictly four hours a day with God, tell me, I want to be on my knees and put the devil to shame." I can feel the heart beat of this child racing to spiritually grow stronger in the Lord. She is one of my fruits in the ministry. I am looking for young people who would write to me and say, "teach me to stay awake and pray", "I am taking three days off just to be on plain tea and bread and be with the Lord", " I am planning to join the Lord's army, guide me", " I am planning to get all the names of the countries around the world and pray for one whole week, please guide me." I am waiting for these kind of prayer requests! Are you there?

Now listen, this merchant that Jesus talks about, is already in possession of some fine pearls. It is obvious that he was not satisfied with what he already had; he was on a search for some
"goodly pearls" says the scripture. Are you satisfied with where you are in your life? Some are satisfied with 15 minutes of prayer, some are happy with not touching the Bible at all and shamelessly call themselves as Christians. Wake up from your slumber to seek more of God in your life.

Edison had to dream of electric light before he could invent it, Alexander Graham Bell had to dream of the telephone before he could invent the telephone. I wonder how many nights this merchant dreamt of that "perfect pearl" before it became a reality for him.

Today, I throw a challenge! Are you crazy enough, mad enough and deeply in love enough with Jesus, as to give up your everything to get Him in your life?
....Ponder !!!!

A faithful man will be richly blessed………….

A faithful man will be richly blessed………….

Frederick the Great, King of Prussia, was a very curious, but also a very clever man. One day he rang the bell for his page to come to him. A page is a little boy who runs errands in great houses, and waits upon people who live there. But when the king rang, no one came to answer the bell. The king then opened the door and found the page had gone to sleep. He saw a letter hanging out of his pocket and, being curious, took it out and read it. It was a letter from the boy's mother. She had thanked him for sending her part of his wages; and said God would reward him, if he continued to serve the king well. Having read this note, the king went out, got some money and slipped it into the boy's pockets. Then he went back to his room and rang so loudly that the page awoke. When he came into the room, the king said, "Surely you have been asleep." The boy stammered out an excuse, and putting his hands into his pockets found the money there. Some boys would have been glad at this, and said nothing about it to anyone. But this page was an honest lad, who knew he had not earned the money, and thought it did not belong to him. So he drew it out, pale and trembling but unable to speak a word. What is the matter said the king. "Alas, your majesty," said the boy, falling upon his knees, "Some one wishes to do me harm. I know nothing about this money which was in my pocket." The king was much pleased with his honesty, and told him to send the money to his mother, as a reward for bringing up her son so well. We never lose by being honest in everything we do. If this boy had said nothing about the money the king had put in his pocket he would not have been trusted so much afterwards. But when the king had found out how honest he was, he took care to help him as much as he could. A faithful man will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished. Proverbs 28:20.

The Language of God...............

The Language of God...............

There is a legend of an African boy called Emmanuel, who was always asking questions. One day he asked the question, "What language does God speak?" No one could answer him. He travelled all over his country to find the answer but did not get a satisfactory answer. Eventually he set out for distant lands to find the answer. For a long time he had no success. At last he came one night to a village called Bethlehem and as there was no room in the local inn, he went outside the village in search of a shelter for the night. He came to a cave and found that too was occupied by a couple and a child. He was about to turn away when the young mother spoke, 'Welcome Emmanuel, we've been waiting for you." The boy was amazed that the woman knew his name. He was even more amazed when she went on to say, "For a long time you have been searching the world over to find out what language God speaks. Well, now your journey is over. Tonight you can see with your own eyes what language God speaks. He speaks the language of love, that is expressed in sharing, understanding, mercy and total acceptance."
