Always be thanking…………

Always be thanking…………

God promises to always lead us into victory! That means, no matter what you are facing, no matter what's going on in the world around you, no matter what anybody says, you should always be thanking God because victory is on the way! You don't have to wait for everything to be perfect before you decide to celebrate what God is going to do in your life. Put some action behind your faith. In the middle of that adversity or tough time, start making a list of who you're going to invite to your victory celebration. That means if you're in the hospital, start planning what you're going to do when you get out. If you lost some money when the stock market went down, start planning your coming-out-of-debt party. When things don't look good in the natural, remember, we serve a supernatural God. With God leading you into victory, you can always plan for increase. You can plan for restoration. You can plan for a comeback that will make you stronger and better than you ever were before! Heavenly Father, I give You thanks and praise today for the promise of victory. Give me Your vision for the future so that I can move confidently into the abundant life You have for me. Amen

A NATIONAL THANKSGIVING………..

A NATIONAL THANKSGIVING………..

Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; and Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me "to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness": Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the Beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have enabled do establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted; for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and, in general, for the great and various favors which He has been please to confer upon us. And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations, and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our national government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shown kindness to us), and to bless them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally, to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best. Given under my hand; at the city of New York, The 3rd day of October AD 1789, George Washington, First President of USA (1789-1797)

Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it………

Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it………..

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat. A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words. Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?" The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way." I wrote: "Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it." Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective? Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have.. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear. The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling… And even more beautiful is knowing that you are the reason behind it!!! After reading this email you really felt touched and you liked the story, I suggest you share it. Remember, this email could change someone's life. Enjoy your day with a heart of gratitude.

The Parable of the Sower and the Seed......

The Parable of the Sower and the Seed……….

The farmer went out into his field with a big, flat basket of seeds and scattered handfuls of them as he walked up and down the field. It was a windy day and some of the seeds were blown outside the field, because it didn't have a hedge around it. They fell on the road and birds swooped down and ate them all up. Some other seeds fell on the stony path around the field. They started to put down roots, but not very long ones, because of all the little pebbles in the way. When the hot sun came up, the seedlings were scorched and shriveled because they had no water in their little roots. Some other seeds fell into a thorny, weedy patch in the corner of the field. These grew too, but the weeds and thorns grew faster and tool all the water from the plants. The weeds got taller and the plants died for want of sunlight. But the seeds that fell on the rich earth that had been dug and made ready for them grew tall and strong. Soon they were a whole field of wheat, ready to be harvested and ground into flour to make delicious bread and cakes. The seed is the message of God's love and His word. When people hear the message, but pay no attention to it, it is like the seeds that fell on the road and were eaten by birds before they could grow. Other people hear about God's love and seem to understand, but if they don't really believe it in their hearts, they are like the stony ground where the plant can't put down good roots. And the ones who hear the message, but forget it because they are too busy worrying about their problems or trying to make money, are like the patch of thorny ground where weeds choke the plants. But the people who hear the message and believe it and act on it, by loving other people- they are the ones who are like a field full of wheat, and their goodness shows. (Matthew 13:1-23)

Promise being fulfilled.........

Promise being fulfilled………….

The car you drive has a large windshield, but only a relatively small rear view mirror. The implication is obvious: What happened in your past is not nearly as important as what is in your future. Where you are going is much more important than where you've been. If you stay focused on the past, you're liable to miss numerous excellent opportunities ahead. Don't let disappointment become the central theme of your life. Quit mourning over something you can't change. God wants to give you a new beginning, but you have to let go of the old before you'll ever see the new. Let that door close behind you and step through the door in front of you. Maybe you've allowed other people to convince you that you're never going to rise higher, that you will never see your dreams come to pass. Don't believe them. When Caleb was a young man, he and Joshua were part of an exploratory spy mission to determine the strength of the enemy before God's people moved into the land that God had promised them. Of the twelve spies, only Caleb and Joshua presented a positive report to Moses. They were all too willing to settle for the second best, to dwell for the rest of their lives right where they were. Unfortunately, that group of negative thinkers never did make it into the Promised Land. They spent the next forty years spinning their wheels and wandering around aimlessly in a desert.  By then Caleb was 85 years old, but he hadn't given up on the dream God had placed in his heart. He told Joshua that he was still as strong as he was when the promise first came to him. Caleb went back to the same place and asked god for that mountain to live on. The mountain he claimed had five giants living on it. Surely, he could have found a place less fortified, more accessible, or more easily occupied. Although it is forty years later, he believed until he has seen that promise being fulfilled. That's the kind of attitude we need to have. We give up too easily. No, keep pressing forward, and keep believing. Keep yourself stirred up. You've got the gifts, the talents and the dreams. Don't allow complacency to keep you from seeing god's promises fulfilled in your life.

Good and perfect gifts in store for you………….

Good and perfect gifts in store for you………….

God has so many good and perfect gifts in store for you. Not only does He offer eternal life through His Son, Jesus, but the Bible is filled with His generous and abundant promises in this life. He wants to bless you with provision and supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. He wants to pour out His abundant favor on you and cause everything you touch to prosper. He wants to bless you with spiritual gifts and make you strong in your inner man. He wants you to enjoy your job and be proud of your work each day. These are all gifts from God. Every good gift from God is meant to draw us closer to Him. Often times, people have an idea about God based on past experiences. But today, I encourage you to let go of old mindsets and see God according to His Word. He is good and faithful, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him! Seek Him today and experience the life of blessing He has in store for you!

CHARTING MY COURSE………..

CHARTING MY COURSE………..

In a hectic world full of confusion, it is easy to feel as if you are going around in a revolving door, but not quite sure where you're going or how to get there. As your day winds down, you may find your mind still racing with responsibilities and problems, reeling with thoughts of today's business and tomorrow's necessities. You may tell yourself, "I've got to figure this out. I've got to find a way. I've got to..." Stop! Let the Lord chart your course! It's not, "What I've got to do, but how will the Lord lead me through this?" He has the only perfect plan to chart your course past confusion. As David put it: Open my eyes to see wonderful things in your Word, I am but a pilgrim here on earth: how I need a map – and your commands are my chart and guide" (Psalm 119:18, 19, TLB). Open your eyes to His wonderful plans for peace in place of confusion, planned direction in place of dead-ends. He alone is your Chart and Guide. Check the "map" of His Word regularly to keep your charted course. Daily path finding through your Bible eliminates the frustration of trying to find your own way. You can truly rest when, having checked your course through God's Word, you set your sight on His perfect path.

Are you in a hard place today………?

Are you in a hard place today………?

One day, a friend came to me, crying desperately, saying that her present situation was more than she could endure. She had been put in a hard place and wanted an immediate way of escape. Are you in a hard place today? Are you asking yourself, as my friend did, what possible glory God could derive from such a devastating experience? Let me encourage you with the answer I gave my friend. I know it was a word from the Lord because it set her free and gave her the peace she was lacking. I encourage you to use these words as a key to healing in your own hard place. I told my friend, "Just because it's a hard place, don't be so sure that God didn't allow you there for a purpose. You cannot see God's whole plan now, but be sure that He has a beautiful purpose to unfold. You may not know what He is preparing you for, but you dare not miss it." Think about how dark a mine is – as dark as the hard place you are now in—yet, it has the capacity to produce the most brilliant of gems. Just like the mining process, our hardest trials can produce our dearest treasures." We have to thank God, that if mountain was plain we couldn't climb so far.

The Thread Mill……..

The Thread Mill……..

As you face what should be a good rest is your mind racing instead, thinking of adding still more responsibilities tomorrow to your already overburdened workload? If you have entered into a "workaholic" pattern...running on a treadmill of projects...it will sooner or later catch up to you. Your mind will cease to function rationally, hindering progress and fruitful results. If eventually your body is worn to its limits by the incessant work cycle, physical and emotional collapse is inevitable, and spiritually you will dry up so that God seems distant and unrelated to your frenzied life. There is an old saying, "When the devil can't make you bad, he makes you busy!" If he can't render you inactive, he destroys your effectiveness through overwork. Step into the rhythm of God's will. Do what He wants you to do when He wants you to do it! Ask God to still your mind and spirit and make you an open channel for His redirection of your priorities. Examine your efforts and objectives. Have they been yours or God's? Are you driving yourself or is the Holy Spirit leading you gently into those things He would have you do? "In all your ways know, recognize and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths; (Proverbs 3:6 AMP). Be open to God's will today. Seek His guidance and He will clearly show you what His plans are and give you contentment, making each day complete in Him.

Wait on the Lord…..…..

Wait on the Lord…..…..

Those that wait upon the Lord look to Him in sincerity and humility for wisdom and strength, and then patiently await His guidance. Strength is expended in service for the Master but there are always new supplies of grace and vitality available from Him who knows no weariness. One of the most magnificent sights of the wild is an eagle soaring in the sky, higher and higher, with seemingly little effort and it knows when the storm is approaching long before it breaks. It will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, it is soaring above it...... The eagle does not escape the storm; it simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rides on the winds that bring the storm......"Similarly, the child of God who draws his strength from above is enabled to go ever onward and upward, always reaching new heights of achievement. But those who wait on the LORD, Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

The Obstacle in our Path…………….

The Obstacle in our Path…………….

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never understand. Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

Meaning behind the trade mark of gramophone…………

Meaning behind the trade mark of gramophone…………

The trade mark on a gramophone record produced by his Master's Voice Gramophone Company depicts a dog sitting before an outmoded gramophone, enraptured by the voice reproduced by it. A great musician who composed songs and sang then himself had a dog as his constant companion. When he suddenly died one day, the dog, unable to hear the master's voice, languished in grief and would not eat any food for days together. No one could coax the dog to shake off its sorrow and eat. At last someone took a record of one of the departed musician's songs and played it on the gramophone. At once the dog came running and listened with rapt attention to its master's voice. It shook its tail to express its joy, This made the Gramophone Company adopt the emblem now so well known all over the world. When you pass through pains and perils, unable to hear the voice of God, and deprived of his guidance, you become very much dejected. Be not dismayed! The Lord speaks to you in a still small voice to let you know that He is still with you. He knows the pressures you had to pass through, but He will make use of you. You will hear Him speak so in the depths of your hearts. "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

A soft answer turns away wrath……….

A soft answer turns away wrath……….

Proverbs 15:1 tells us that "a soft answer turns away wrath." While it's true that a humble response to wrath will normally cause it to subside, it's equally true that some people will never be pacified. Because of long term bitterness and resentment, the tide of their wrath runs too high. The only thing we can do-and the thing we must always do-is to be meek and lowly in the face of their anger and leave the consequences with God. This doesn't mean we must stay in an abusive situation, for no one has the right to mistreat another human being. But it does mean we can by God's grace respond calmly to another's anger. Paul stated the matter this way: If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone (Romans 12:18). We must be peacemakers even if others refuse to be. Obedience is our job; the rest we leave to God. We want a word that always works, an easy solution, a quick fix. But some things in this broken world can't be fixed no matter what we do, so we must rely on God's grace to deal with them from day to day. Calm, quiet words may not always turn away another's wrath. You may be grieved because they go unheeded, but you can never go wrong with a soft answer.
