God will answer your cry

God will answer your cry

Once there was a man, who goes to the doctor due to some problem. He tells the doctor that, his wife is acting being deaf these days, i.e. no matter what this man says she is not replying to any of the things. The doctor says, "I do not have a treatment right now for this problem, I can suggest you something through which you can know her level of deafness then we can start treatment." The doctor says, go home and try calling your wife from 30 feet far and then go little closer and then call her again and go little further and repeat the same. Do this in order to know her level of deafness. The man says, "Ok doctor I will try this out" and left that place. The man goes home. He tells his wife, "Honey what's for dinner?" He does not get any reply. He goes little further and asks the same question. He does this ten times; he was almost near to her. Then for the 10th time she answers him saying, "How many times should I reply saying that today is the special dinner for you." It means it was not his wife who was deaf but he himself.  Friends, it is same with Our God. We think that we ask him so many things in prayer many times and Lord is not answering us. But it is the other way around. He always listens to our cry and answers our prayer as our Lord is gracious and merciful but we never realize them. He may give answers to our prayers to us but in different ways. Because he says, my thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways. O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you." Isaiah 30:19.

Lighting another Candle

Lighting another Candle

Kramer was a great pianist. Some said he was the greatest pianist in his time. He lived in a small town where the people were poor and the living was simple. He himself had been poor once and he never forgot that his roots were in his hometown. So despite being rich, brilliant and famous, he lived in a modest house in the heart of the little town. He had long since retired from being a concert pianist, and now he lived with his wife and his children. But Kramer was not happy. He was still brilliant and he wanted to do something more than live an easy life. One day, he hit upon the idea of giving piano lessons to the young people in the town. His wife was displeased to say the least, "Why should you do that?" she asked her husband. "Everyone will want to be as rich and famous as you. And then you will lose all the distinction you have earned so hard." Kramer said, "A candle loses nothing, after all by lighting another candle." So he started giving lessons to the young men and women in the town and sure enough, he discovered reserves of great talent. One young man especially had the potential to be brilliant. Kramer concentrated hard on him. And soon he was as versatile a musician as Kramer had once been. He became known as Kramer's protégé and Kramer personally saw that he debuted at one of the greatest stages in Europe. The young man was received with thunderous applause at the end of the concert. He stood up to take a bow and was asked to give a speech, so exquisite had been his playing. In his speech he thanked his parents and his friends who have been so supportive and finally he dedicated his speech to Kramer. He said, "I could never have done it without you, Sir." He said this with tears in his eyes, "You have helped to lighten this candle and I promise to make you proud." This was the greatest accolades Kramer had received in his life.

Don’t give up your dreams

Don't give up your dreams

The car you drive has a large windshield, but only a relatively small rear view mirror. The implication is obvious: What happened in your past is not nearly as important as what is in your future. Where you are going is much more important than where you've been. If you stay focused on the past, you're liable to miss numerous excellent opportunities ahead. Don't let disappointment become the central theme of your life. Quit mourning over something you can't change. God wants to give you a new beginning, but you have to let go of the old before you'll ever see the new. Let that door close behind you and step through the door in front of you. Maybe you've allowed other people to convince you that you're never going to rise higher, that you will never see your dreams come to pass. Don't believe them. When Caleb was a young man, he and Joshua were part of an exploratory spy mission to determine the strength of the enemy before God's people moved into the land that God had promised them. Out of the twelve spies, only Caleb and Joshua presented a positive report to Moses. They were all too willing to settle for the second best, to dwell for the rest of their lives right where they were. Unfortunately, that group of negative thinkers never did make it into the Promised Land. They spent the next forty years spinning their wheels and wandering around aimlessly in a desert.  By then Caleb was 85 years old, but he hadn't given up on the dream God had placed in his heart. He told Joshua that he was still as strong as he was when the promise first came to him. Caleb went back to the same place and asked god for that mountain to live on. The mountain he claimed had five giants living on it. Surely, he could have found a place less fortified, more accessible, or more easily occupied. Although it is forty years later, he believed until he has seen that promise being fulfilled. That's the kind of attitude we need to have. We give up too easily. No, keep pressing forward, and keep believing. Keep yourself stirred up. You've got the gifts, the talents and the dreams. Don't allow complacency to keep you from seeing god's promises fulfilled in your life.

What goes around comes around

What goes around comes around

His name wasFleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make out aliving for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. Hedropped his tools and ran to the bog. There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Flemingsaved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death. The nextday, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. Anelegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father ofthe boy Farmer Fleming had saved. "I want to repay you," said thenobleman. "You saved my son's life." "No, I can't accept paymentfor what I did," the Scottish farmer replied, waving off the offer. Atthat moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel."Is that your son?" the nobleman asked. "Yes," the farmerreplied proudly. "I'll make you a deal. Let me take him and give him agood education. If the lad is anything like his father, he'll grow to a man youcan be proud of." And that he did. In time, Farmer Fleming's son graduatedfrom St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become knownthroughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer ofPenicillin. Years afterward, the nobleman's son was stricken with pneumonia. What saved him? Penicillin, The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill,His son's name? Sir Winston Churchill. Someone once said what goes around comesaround. Jesus said it another way In bible Luke 6:38: Give, and it will begiven to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measuredto you.

Jesus Christ, the Seeking Savior...............

Jesus Christ, the Seeking Savior...............

John 3:16-17, In this busy and impersonal high-tech world, it seems easier than ever to ignore Jesus Christ. We are led to believe that every need can be met with a few clicks on the computer. After all, if we want to keep our eyes on the future, why seek a Savior from 2,000 years in the past? As we grow more and more accustomed to looking to ourselves for answers, we can easily fall into a dangerous trap--the idea that just because we don't care about Him, He doesn't care about us. Nothing could be farther from the truth. All through the Bible, God takes the initiative in the salvation of man. None of us who are saved have sought Him out; we've just responded to His initiative. He made the first move; He chose to save us and then we chose to respond. What does Scripture say? In John 3:16, we see that the Father actively gave His Son so that we might be saved. In verse 17, the Word clarifies that the Son was sent not to condemn but to save the world. And think about Jesus' parting instructions to His disciples in Mark 16:15. Did He say to sit idly by and simply mention His name to anybody who walked past? No! He told them to go out into the world and tell everyone the good news! He wants the gospel to go forth, because He is still seeking the lost today. Have you been sitting around, waiting for Jesus to show up? Stand up, my friend. Jesus is here, and He's been looking for you all along

Choose a lifestyle of obedience ……….

Choose a lifestyle of obedience ……….

The story of Daniel illustrates some key elements of obedience. We see the wise young man doing what the Lord commanded, in the right manner and timing. Daniel knew that God's law prohibited eating food that had been offered to idols. But he was living in captivity in Babylon—a nation that worshiped false gods—and soon faced a hard decision. King Nebuchadnezzar had ordered that the choicest of foods be sent for Daniel's meals after first being presented to idols. Was it better to obey the Lord and risk angering the king—or to disobey God and please the ruler? On the surface, the question for Daniel was about unacceptable food. But the underlying issue was allegiance to God. He could have rationalized breaking the divine command by telling himself he was a servant and had no choice. Instead, Daniel resolved not to eat the royal food and sought a way through the dilemma that would honor the Lord and keep His law. Today, many things that our world finds acceptable are outside God's protective boundaries for His children. Some are not good for us while others do not honor Him. Our desire as Christians is to obey the Lord, but our fleshly side wants to please ourselves and others. Yet denying self and obeying God is always the right choice. To become like Daniel, we must make a wholehearted commitment to follow the Lord and consistently apply Scripture to our decision making. Then, when challenges come, we'll have the courage to obey God's commands. Our Father is pleased when we choose a lifestyle of obedience like Daniel's.

Give me a parking space…………

Give me a parking space…………

One man I heard about was driving around in a crowded parking lot, trying to find a space. He finally got so frustrated and said, "God if you will give me a parking space, I'll attend the church every Sunday." Just then, a car backed out of the front row, and the frustrated driver pulled into the open spot. He looked up and said, "Never mind, God. I just found one." Too often, we forget that God is the giver of all good things. God is the one who caused us get that "lucky break." He's the one who caused us to be at the right place at the night time. How many times have you been driving on a busy highway and you said to yourself, "Whew! That car almost hit me. Another split second and I would have had an accident." That was God's hand of protection. Understand that there is no such thing as a coincidence when your life is directed by God. When something good happens to you, be sensitive, recognize the work of God and learn to recall it often. Sometimes, we take these things for granted. Some people don't even realize that it was God at work in their life. Maybe you used to think or speak negatively. You were depressed and defeated. Today, though you are rising higher; you know you are a victor and not a victim. Perhaps at one point you suffered with all kinds of addictions and pain. But God supernaturally delivered you, and today you are healthy and whole. Thank God for what He has done. Remember how He set you free from all bondages. Remembering where you came from is one of the best ways to keep yourself encouraged. When we learn to recall the good things God has done, it helps us to stay in an attitude of faith and to remain grateful. He is holding you in the palm of His hand, and He will take care of you. All you need to do is to remember what all He has done for you and praise Him. Give Him all the glory he deserves, because He alone is worthy to be praised.

Doctors Testimony…………(Must Read)

Doctors Testimony…………

Having lunch with a group of people, I fell to talking with a surgeon, a very interesting man. "Doctor," I asked, "what was the greatest operation you ever performed?" "Well," he said, "I really don't know. Many operations I have performed required all my skills. But perhaps the one that meant the most to me was the time I operated on a little girl who was given only a ten percent chance of survival. She was such a little thing, and so pale when they brought her into the operating room. "At that time, I was having a great deal of trouble, myself. I had a son who was a real problem and there were other things as well. I had allowed myself to become an unhappy man. As the nurses were preparing to administer the anesthetic to this little girl, she asked, 'Doctor, may I say something?' " 'Yes, honey,' I replied. 'What is it?' " 'Well,' she said, 'every night when I go to bed I say my prayers, and I'd like to say a prayer now.'" 'That's all right, honey, please say your prayer, and think of me, too, won't you?' In a sweet voice she prayed: Jesus, tender Shepherd, hear me, Bless thy little lamb tonight; through the darkness be thou near me: Keep me safe till morning light. "And, dear God, please bless the doctor.' Then she added brightly, 'I'm ready now. And I'm not afraid, because Jesus loves me and He is right here with me and is going to bring me through okay.' "I was blinded by tears," confessed the surgeon. "I had to turn away and occupy myself with another wash up before I could start the operation. And I said, 'Dear God, if You never help me save another human being, help me save this little girl.' I operated on her and the miracle happened. She lived! Leaving the hospital that day, I realized that I was the one who had been operated on, not the girl. She taught me that if I take all my problems and put them in the hands of Jesus, He will see me through." written by Norman Vincent Peale
